Dwarf Rhododendron Snipe is a particularly pretty variety with delicate fairy-wing petals in a pale pink bubblegum colour. The beautiful flowers flourish in April time, adding a gorgeous splash of colour to your garden whilst waiting for the later developers to blossom. This type of Rhododendron is a free flowering plant with attractive green leaves, keeping rockeries and flower beds fresh and vibrant. Although a dense compact grower, the plant can actually reach around 45cm in height over the period of ten years, but can be started off in a neat trough attached to the house wall or a nice traditional square stone planter. Dwarf Rhododendron Snipe does not like to be situated in areas subject to a lot of dry heat and so care should be taken on initial planting. This beautiful variety is also great for decorating the front of garden borders too, adding a subtle feminine hint of colour as well as an elegant point of interest for any garden.
