Dwarf Rhododendron Patty Bee is a beautiful dwarf evergreen shrub with leaves that turn from a rather dark green colour over the summer, to a rich luxurious bronze shade over the winter. Its funnel-shaped pale yellow flowers will add a subtle hint of colour to your garden on early summer mornings or alternatively will complement various deep vibrant flowers when arranged nicely in a small space of unused earth or a garden border. Dwarf Rhododendron Patty Bee is a great rockery filler, with its wavy-edged flowers adding interest to flower beds and a sometimes hairy texture to the underside of its leaves. The soft yellow flowers of the shrub, stretch to around 4cm in width growing in small elegant trusses. Dwarf Rhododendron Patty Bee is also a type of low growing alpine and so is ideal for planting in areas that get plenty of sunlight. Patty Bee is best matched with vibrant pink shades and soft lilacs for an attractive colour pallete throughout the warmer months.
